THE PROGRAMME CONTRACT / REVIEW EDITION 1
Know what you learn.
Know what you build.
A proposed 16-week assessed common core, with a four-week specialist extension. Coded subjects, practical evidence and a clear distinction between breadth and depth.
Design allocations, not hours already delivered. Monday–Friday, one proposed five-hour shift, including 20 minutes of breaks per day. Core: 16 × 5 × 5 h = 400 h; breaks: 26 h 40 m. Learning/training split: 40% / 60% of productive time. Faculty and college scheduling remain to be agreed.
EVERY LEARNER / THE SHARED CORE
Twelve courses.
A connected foundation.
The core introduces each discipline to the depth allocated here. Advanced specialist mastery requires a focused pathway and further practice.

HOW THE SEMESTER UNFOLDS
A paced progression.
Not forty-two parallel courses.
Capstone evidence develops throughout the core; weeks 14–16 concentrate on integration and defence. Each core week allocates 18 h 45 m to the sequential core courses and 4 h 35 m to capstone work. The allocations sum to 23 h 20 m productive time each week. Capstone planning starts at orientation; model implementation follows ML201 and service integration follows MLO401.

One pathway: first selected studio in weeks 17–18, second in 19–20.
OPTIONAL / SPECIALISE WITH INTENTION
Choose one pathway.
Deepen one contribution.
Four additional weeks: 100 scheduled hours, including 6 h 40 m breaks. The productive 93 h 20 m comprises two selected 24-hour specialist studios and 45 h 20 m of project deepening.
Not all 30 specialist studios run in one intake. The selected pathway, faculty, environment and availability must be confirmed before enrolment. Other specialist subjects remain a transparent catalogue for future cohorts or separately scoped training.
